Many individuals that are arrested and incarcerated are already entrepreneurs – they are simply selling drugs or other illegals goods.

RiseUp trains at-risk and incarcerated individuals to redirect their raw entrepreneurial instincts, “hustling” skills, competitiveness, resilience and creativity to become legitimate entrepreneurs which enables them to overcome job discrimination, earn a sustainable living and achieve their potential so they are not drawn back into illegal activity.

RiseUp provides a unique blend of entrepreneurial, mindfulness and emotional intelligence training, mentorship and innovative technology to help previously incarcerated individuals not only survive upon release, but thrive.

Entrepreneurship has an equally powerful, but completely opposite, ripple effect as imprisonment. A generation of newly minted, mindful entrepreneurs can positively impact their communities and families by mentoring, inspiring and hiring others with criminal records and serving as role models and examples of transformation.
